Founded in 1988 in Evergreen, Colorado, Team Evergreen is a non-profit organization and the largest bike club in the state of Colorado. TE promotes the sport of cycling through involvement in bicycle and community organizations.
The Durham Cycling Story. Founded in 1991 the Durham Cycling Club is a non-profit organization of avid recreational cyclists. Formerly the Touring Concept Cycling Group, the goal of the club is to promote fitness through cycling as well as social camaraderie among the group.
Cycling, also called bicycling or biking, is the use of bicycles for transport, recreation, exercise or sport. People engaged in cycling are referred to as “cyclists”, “bikers”, or less commonly, as “bicyclists”.
Critical Mass is a cycling event typically held on the last Friday of every month; its purpose is not usually formalized beyond the direct action of meeting at a set location and time and traveling as a group through city or town streets on bikes.
